Also in 1996, Tyler acquired the International Cold Storage Company, an industry leader in the design, manufacture and sales of factory assembled walk-in refrigeration equipment serving primarily quick-service restaurants. |

In 1997, Tyler was acquired by Carrier Corporation, a United Technologies Company. Tyler is part of the Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (CCR) group, the largest commercial/transport refrigeration manufacturer in the world. |
