Tyler Refrigeration Corporation was founded in 1927. Its Corporate headquarters is located in Niles, Michigan.
	During the last 75 years, Tyler has established a leadership position in the industry by providing innovative quality products in the areas of refrigerated and non-refrigerated merchandisers, walk-in coolers and mechanical refrigeration systems.
In 1996, Tyler introduced its Advantage Series of merchandisers. The contemporary styling of this line enhanced the durability, energy efficiency and cleanability of Tyler display cases, while incorporating features to promote excellence in product presentation.
	Also in 1996, Tyler acquired the International Cold Storage Company, an industry leader in the design, manufacture and sales of factory assembled walk-in refrigeration equipment serving primarily quick-service restaurants.
Recently Tyler refined its state-of-the-art mechanical systems with the introductions of Enviroguard and Enviroguard II. These systems significantly reduce refrigerant requirements and energy costs. In addition, set up and service are simplified, compressor life is increased and food is kept looking better longer through tighter temperature control.
Tyler has manufacturing locations in Niles Michigan, Yuma AZ, Brea CA, Olive Branch MS, and Monterrey Mexico; with additional offices in Dallas TX, Phoenix AZ, Golden Valley MN, and Fairfield NJ. Niles and Monterrey locations manufacture a complete line of refrigerated display cases for meat, produce, dairy, frozen food, service meat and deli. The Yuma and Brea facilities manufacture a complete line of refrigeration and mechanical systems. The Olive Branch location manufactures sectional walk-in coolers. Tyler also has licensees located worldwide that are authorized to manufacture its products.
In 1997, Tyler was acquired by Carrier Corporation, a United Technologies Company. Tyler is part of the Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (CCR) group, the largest commercial/transport refrigeration manufacturer in the world.
	Tyler serves the refrigeration needs of supermarkets, convenience stores, wholesale clubs, industrial & institutional facilities along with full-service and quick-service restaurants.
